In an area renowned for its exceptional golf courses, Haig Point consistently garners praise and serves as the venue for prestigious tournaments. When originally designed in 1986, the course featured 20 holes, including two additional greens. In 2007, Rees Jones returned to restore the greens and further solidify the course’s status as one of the nation’s finest. Yardage was extended from 7,150 to 7,380, enhancing its USGA rating.
Rees Jones, often referred to as “The Open Doctor” due to the number of his courses hosting major events such as the U.S. Open, Ryder Cup, and PGA Championship, has crafted 29 holes of classic architecture at Haig Point. Both the Signature and Osprey courses feature multiple tee boxes, each offering distinct perspectives, distances, and wind conditions. The 9-hole Osprey Course is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and stunning views. Osprey features Bermuda grass and boasts a rating of 74.9, with a slope rating of 142. It’s ideal for a swift round before or after work and is often enjoyed with family. Every round at Haig Point is an ever-changing experience, as you can select a different scorecard every day. Complementing the golf experience are exceptional practice facilities, a well-stocked golf shop, and an elegant clubhouse and restaurant.
